Poughkeepsie, NY: It was a beautiful, sunny day for the NAMCAR DAYS INN 100 for the SR Open division & QUALITY INN, SUPERIOR SPECULATIONS 50 for the NAMCAR Jr Future Stars.

Time trial qualifying when off with out a hitch with "DYNO-MITE" DYLAN VAIL blistering a perfect lap to take the Future Stars pole & Steven Hershey taking the Open class pole.

In the Future Stars Feature 50 lap event Wes Wagner took his best shot on the first lap and held the lead flag to flag for the win with Dylan Vail 2nd, Shawn Pavlik 3rd, Nick Turner 4th & Matt Schneider 5th after he was retired to the garage when he broke his second header pipe of the day early in the race.

The open feature was a little different. Steven Hershey maintained the lead for the first 50 laps but Fast Freddie Ballard was close by lurking in the background. Jimmie Vail also stayed back and stalked Hershey & Ballard. after the 50 lap pit stop Fast Freddie was "shot out of a cannon" and pounced on Hershey for the lead then Vail made his move and over took Hershey but could never catch Ballard. Ballard wins followed by Jammin Jimmie Vail 2nd,Steven Hershey 3rd, Andrew Miller 4th, Aaron Turner 5th & Joel Hoysradt 6th.
